In the quarter century since Best Lawyers was founded, the legal profession has undergone sweeping changes. We have tried to keep our publication current with those changes without compromising our integrity or losing sight of our fundamental mission: to publish a referral guide to the legal profession based solely on peer review.
As Best Lawyers approaches its twenty-fifth anniversary, we will be undertaking several important new initiatives in order to make the information we gather on the legal profession even more useful to lawyers and clients alike. We are also launching Best Lawyers International, which will bring our peer-reviewed listings to major legal communities around the world. To help ensure that these new initiatives are responsive to both the concerns of the legal profession and the needs of clients, we are assembling a Best Lawyers Board of Advisors.
