Richard L. Rosen has represented franchisors and franchisees for more than 35 years. His franchise clients have spanned many business areas, including fast food, childrens’ entertainment, healthcare, fashion, real estate, gas service stations, optical, hotel, recreation, home improvement, senior care, and gyms and fitness centers, among other industries. He is a founding member of the New York Franchising and Licensing Section of the New York State Bar Association and its immediate past chairman; member of the American Bar Association Forum on Franchising, the Steering Committee of the National Franchise Mediation Program, CPR Institute for Dispute Resolution Distinguished Panel of Neutrals, and the International Franchise Association; past chair of the Fair Franchising Standards Committee of the American Association of Franchisees and Dealers, and a recipient of its Lifetime Achievement Award for his contributions to the field of franchising. Mr. Rosen is listed in Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in American Law, Who’s Who in the World; selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America, and a charter member of its Franchise Lawyers’ Hall of Fame, 101 Best Franchise Lawyers in America by The Franchise Times, Super Lawyers, and the International Who’s Who of Franchise Lawyers; and rated amongst Martindale-Hubbell’s AV-Preeminent® attorneys.
