Our modern roots stem from the desire of several very successful lawyers to join together to enable them to concentrate in their respective specialties. From that base, the Firm has expanded to support our clients' needs. We have developed practice groups within the Firm, and invested in technology and lawyer training to be able to give our clients the level of service and support they deserve.

At the same time, we encourage our lawyers to become involved in the community and to support those causes and organizations they respect. The Firm's lawyers serve on the boards of local community groups like the History Center, the Museum of Art, Blue Jacket, Inc., S.C.A.N. (Stop Child Abuse and Neglect), Early Childhood Alliance, STAR 88.3 (Christian radio), and many churches, as well as national boards of publicly held corporations and charitable groups. We also expect them to spend time with their families, and provide paid leave to do so when appropriate.
