Adam’s practice encompasses all aspects of trade mark law including search analysis and advice, prosecution of domestic and international trade marks, dispute resolution and advice in relation to breaches of the consumer protection provisions of the Trade Practices Act and passing off.
Adam’s practice primarily involves advising in relation to Australian trade mark law, but he also has expertise in advising directly on all aspects of New Zealand trade mark law. Adam also has extensive experience in filing and prosecuting overseas trade mark applications, including international registrations via the Madrid Protocol.
Adam acts for a wide variety of clients including some of Australia’s most significant consumer product companies. Adam has lectured in Australian trade mark practice and is the Chair of the International Trade Mark Associations Legislation and Regulation Committee for South East Asia and Pacific.
Adam has been a Principal at Davies Collison Cave since 2002.
