Ms. Clayman has experience working on complicated high net worth cases, custody disputes, international matters and complex pre- and post-nuptial agreements.
Ms. Clayman was selected by the Leading Lawyers Network as a top family law practitioner in Illinois and by the Illinois Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star” in family law. She is also a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association.
Ms. Clayman’s impressive legal career began at one of Arizona’s preeminent law firms, Brown & Bain, now known as Perkins Coie Brown & Bain, where she practiced civil litigation for many of the country’s largest companies. Clayman then joined international law firm McDermott Will & Emery as an associate in the trial department. In 2001, Ms. Clayman continued building her now highly respected matrimonial law practice at Berger Schatz, where she was named a partner in January 2004. She joined Katz & Stefani as a partner at the firm’s 2008 inception.
