Tony Minchella founded Minchella Law in July 2003, following his years of private practice with top litigation firms including Halloran & Sage, LLP and Zeldes, Needle & Cooper, P.C. He represents Fortune 50 companies, financial institutions, and small to mid-size closely-held Connecticut businesses, handling corporate governance, employment litigation, trade secret and non-competition litigation, unfair trade practices, Department of Labor investigations, and construction litigation. Tony also represents corporate shareholders and LLC members in litigation, including dissolution and receivership actions involving breach of fiduciary duty claims, and serves as outside general counsel to Connecticut businesses and local counsel to out-of-state attorneys.

Tony holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy with a minor in Business Administration from St. Bonaventure University and a Juris Doctor from Quinnipiac University School of Law. He is admitted to practice law in both Connecticut and New Jersey state courts, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Districts of Connecticut, Southern, Northern, Eastern and Western Districts of New York, and the District of New Jersey. Additionally, Tony is admitted to practice before the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.

Tony is actively involved in the Connecticut Bar Association, American Bar Association, and Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association. He has held leadership positions, such as Co-Chair of the Federal Practice Section and Co-Chair of the Ethics and Professional Responsibility Section of the Connecticut Bar Association. Additionally, he is an adjunct professor of law on Connecticut Civil Procedure at Quinnipiac Law School.

Tony has been recognized as a New England and Connecticut Super Lawyer for 14 consecutive years and holds an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale Hubbell, in addition to his selection to Best Lawyers.
