Brad Hendrick’s practice focuses on immigration law and employer compliance and planning. Mr. Hendrick is a Boulder native. He earned a bachelor's degree with honors from the University of Michigan in 1996 and earned a law degree and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Colorado in 2002. He has been practicing immigration law since 2002 and joined Caplan & Earnest in 2009 after spending several years with a boutique immigration practice in Denver. He also served as the Legal Services Coordinator and Staff Attorney for the Rocky Mountain Survivors Center where he launched the organization’s pro bono asylum project.

Mr. Hendrick practices in all areas of immigration. He focuses on employment-based immigration and he counsels individuals and corporations on all types of immigration matters. He assists all types of organizations with visas and permanent residence for employees, and specializes in assisting healthcare organizations, energy companies, technology companies, emerging organizations and entrepreneurs. This includes counseling and assistance with F-1, H-1B, L-1, J-1, O-1 visas and other visas that allow work, study, or training in the United States. He also assists employees and families with obtaining permanent residence, assisting with PERM labor certifications, multinational manager petitions, outstanding professor and researcher cases, extraordinary and exceptional ability petitions, national interest waivers and family relative petitions. He also assists individuals with obtaining citizenship, and counsels on immigration compliance and visa options for U.S. citizens looking to work and live outside of the United States.

In addition to assisting with visas and permanent residence, Mr. Hendrick counsels employers on a variety of immigration and employment compliance issues. He represents employers in OCAHO proceedings related to I-9 violations, and counsels and trains employers on best practices for immigration compliance. This includes training staff on I-9 completion, performing and overseeing I-9 audits, and counseling on state compliance processes.
