Brian A. Bodansky is an associate in the White Plains, New York, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. He is an experienced litigator who represents employers in a variety of employment law disputes. Brian regularly appears on behalf of clients before local, state and federal agencies, as well as state and federal court. He has focused much of his practice on wage and hour claims, both in single-plaintiff and class action matters.
In addition to his work as a defense litigator, Brian also works with employers on a prospective basis, drafting and advising on commission plans and other compensation packages. He also advises clients on proactive strategies and policies to minimize the risk of potential future claims.
Brian’s practice is not limited to wage and hour work – he also has years of experience defending employers from claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation and other similar claims.
While in law school, Brian earned numerous awards for his public service, including the Donald Magnetti Award, granted to a member of the graduating class in recognition of outstanding public commitment, the Archibald R. Murray Award, summa cum laude, for completing more than 1,000 hours of public service and the Public Interest Resource Center Leadership Award for his service to the Fordham Domestic Violence Action Center. He also served as the symposium editor of the Fordham International Law Journal where he published a note on the subject of the intersection of labor and antitrust law.
