Casey Fidler is a partner at Tharrington Smith and a Board Certified Specialist in Family Law. She represents clients in all areas of family law, including divorce, child custody and support, equitable distribution, alimony, and family law appeals.
Casey earned her Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law and graduated with Highest Distinction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication and a second major in Political Science. During law school, she served as Executive Editor of the Wake Forest Law Review, was a member of the Moot Court Board, and worked as an Elder Law Clinic Student Advocate. Since joining Tharrington Smith in 2017, Casey has built a reputation for her skillful and compassionate guidance of clients through complex family law matters. Her dedication to providing thoughtful legal advice has earned her the trust of clients facing difficult family transitions.
Outside of work, Casey is active in the Junior League of Raleigh and gives back to the community through her volunteer work with The Green Chair Project. She loves to travel and recently checked Aruba and Bora Bora off her bucket list. When she’s not exploring new destinations, she’s diving into a new challenge—learning French through a New York-based language school.
