Fluently Bilingual, Catherine has a varied litigation practice with a focus on insurance matters and regulatory issues for professionals. She has experience resolving casualty claims, including injury, fatality and abuse claims. She counsels insurers on property and commercial claims as well as subrogated matters. Catherine also provides assistance to professional regulators. She has appeared as counsel in all levels of court in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, as well as before the Prince Edward Island Supreme Court. A Harvard-trained negotiator, she works with her clients to achieve resolutions cost-effectively.
Catherine is a member of the Association des juristes d’expression française du Nouveau Brunswick, the Canadian Bar Association, the Moncton Areas Lawyers Association and the Canadian Defence Lawyers. She is the Past President and Past Secretary/Treasurer for the Cumberland County Barristers’ Association. She has also served on the boards of the United Way of Cumberland County and the Bridge Adult Service Centre.
A Boston Marathoner, Catherine enjoys hiking with her family, trail running and practicing yoga.
