Christopher J. Oddo exclusively focuses on representing individual and corporate landowners throughout Texas in eminent domain and condemnation matters. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and is recognized by Best Lawyers in America for eminent domain and condemnation law and litigation for land use and zoning matters. Mr. Oddo has also been recognized by Austin Monthly as one of Austin’s top eminent domain attorneys.
Mr. Oddo is a partner with Barron, Adler, Clough & Oddo, PLLC, joining the firm in 2015. Prior to joining Barron, Adler, Clough and Oddo, he was a partner with McGinnis Lochridge where he created and served as Chair of the Eminent Domain and Inverse Condemnation Practice Group. Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Oddo served as an Assistant Attorney General. He is an experienced litigator having tried more than 30 cases to conclusion.
Mr. Oddo also serves as an assistant Adjunct Professor for the University of Texas School of Law as an Advocacy Specialist. He has previously served as President of the Austin Bar Association, Director on the Board of Directors for the State Bar of Texas, Vice-Chair of the Land Use and Environmental Group of the American Bar Association’s Real Property, Trust and Estate Law section, and Chair of the Austin Bar Foundation. He is also a longstanding member in the Lloyd Lochridge American Inn of Court.
