Since joining Regan Zambri Long in 2013, attorney Chris Regan has served as a creative and dedicated advocate for injured clients. In that time, he has built a strong track record of outstanding results for his clients, including numerous seven- and eight-figure verdicts and settlements. He has successfully handled cases involving car crashes (including the leading local case on Uber’s and Lyft’s responsibility when their drivers are at fault), defectively unsafe product design, Metro bus and subway crashes, medical malpractice, and gas explosions at apartment buildings.

Chris is Co-Chair of the New Lawyers Division of the District of Columbia Trial Lawyers Association. He is also a member of the American Association for Justice, the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, and the Maryland Association for Justice. In his community, Chris is pro bono counsel for Chevy Chase at Home, a non-profit for seniors in the Chevy Chase, MD area. He was named a 2024 Best Lawyer and a 2023 Washington, DC Super Lawyers Rising Star.

Before joining the firm, Chris completed an externship, earning professional experience working for a judge on the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. He then worked as a law clerk for another California injury firm before joining Regan Zambri Long.

Chris graduated from Duke University with a B.A. in 2009 and earned his law degree from Vanderbilt University in 2013. During his time at Vanderbilt, Chris worked as an Articles Editor for the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law. He also participated in the Vanderbilt Civil Practice Clinic. There, he helped children with special needs obtain access to their rightful public education guaranteed under the Individuals with Disabilities Act. Today, Chris is licensed to practice in Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia.
