Cory Boyd is co-managing partner of Rubin Thomlinson LLP. With over 20 years of experience, he is a highly accomplished workplace investigator, assessor, and trainer. His fair, analytic approach adapts to the characteristics of every workplace he encounters, respecting each client’s unique workplace culture. Cory believes that, when done well, investigations and assessments can truly and deeply improve an organization.

Cory regularly presents at conferences and writes on the subjects of workplace investigations, workplace assessments, bullying and harassment, and human rights developments. He also continues to advance his professional knowledge, having completed certificates in Conflict Management at Conrad Grebel College, and Organizational Development at Royal Roads University. He also completed the Harvard Business School’s Executive Education program on Authentic Leadership.

Cory applies his analytical skills to conducting workplace and institutional investigations, while also assisting employers in developing systems to ensure compliance with legal and ethical obligations through assessment processes. He delivers training to staff at all levels on their roles within the investigation process and works with clients to identify individual and systemic issues within the organization, to the end of restoring relationships and helping build healthy and respectful workplaces. As a co-managing partner at Rubin Thomlinson, Cory also mentors the team’s investigators, providing high-level advice and support as needed, and remains informed about their projects.

Prior to Rubin Thomlinson, Cory has worked with the Ontario Human Rights Commission, the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services, and Toronto Community Housing as an in-house investigator and human rights consultant.
