PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Partner since 2003 and managing partner since 2014. Head of the trademark, franchising and licensing practices, with vast experience in domestic and international matters. Activities include, advising clients on IP matters in general; negotiating and drafting license, franchise, copyright and con?dentiality contracts; filing and prosecuting trademarks and patents with the Trademark Of?ce; filing copyright applications with the Copyright Of?ce; due diligence on IP matters; classifying and registering product and service trademarks of Mexican and leading multinational companies; registering trademarks in South and Central America, Europe, Asia and the U.S. through local counsel in each jurisdiction; counseling Mexican and international clients on e-commerce issues related to intellectual property; registering and cancellation of domain names.
