Elisé regularly appears in both state and federal courts in Ohio and Indiana. A skilled writer and strategic thinker, she crafts persuasive and effective dispositive motions, appellate briefing, and oral arguments.

Elisé also helps to spearhead insurance recoveries through early claim negotiation discussions and, where necessary, litigation against the insurance company. She advises insureds on insurance coverage issues for the construction and finance industries, such as comprehensive general liability policies, errors and omissions policies, architect or engineers professional liability policies, and all-risk policies.

Recent successes include

  • Second-chairing a bench trial and winning a judgment of over $400,000, including attorneys’ fees.
  • Assisting the Hahn Loeser team that argued an appeal that upheld a judgment for more than one million dollars in compensatory damages in favor of Hahn Loeser’s client in the Eleventh District Court of Appeals for the State of Ohio. The appellate court also affirmed awards of punitive damages and attorney fees.
