Farid has advised and assisted with applications for a very wide range of visas and other approvals under the Australian immigration law, including those by employers, investors, skilled migrants, family based visa applicants, students, asylum seekers and refugees, and global talent visa applicants. He also has significant experience in related administrative law areas, including Freedom of Information.
Representative experience
A large part of Farid's work involves assisting clients facing a possible or actual unfavourable decision, such those who do not clearly meet visa criteria, clients with health or character issues, those facing visa refusal or cancellation, and employers subject of a notice of intention to take action or sanction notice.
Farid regularly assist clients with Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT) and Immigration Assessment Authority (IAA) matters and with proceedings in Australia's Federal Circuit Court, Federal Court, Federal Court and High Court.
