A founding partner of Burrison Hudani Doris, Farrah's practice encompasses all areas of family law including complex property and support claims and custody and access disputes.
She has significant experience in jurisdictional issues, Hague Convention cases and mobility disputes. Farrah has argued leading reported cases in these areas and lectured at conferences in Canada and the United States. She has experience arguing cases at all levels of Court including the Ontario Court of Justice, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Court of Appeal, and the Supreme Court of Canada. Most recently, she argued in the Supreme Court of Canada on the issue of the availability of the writ of habeas corpus for children.
Farrah is the new senior editor of the leading publication on children and their interests, Wilson on Children and the Law and is the chapter editor of the Hague Convention section of the book.
Farrah is a member of the Ontario bar and the American bar. She also has an LL.M. in Family Law from Osgoode Hall Law School
