Florent Vever

Florent Vever is a specialist in antitrust and commercial litigation (private enforcement, restrictive competition practices and unfair competition), and also in criminal business litigation. He uses the full range of procedural tools (in futurum measures, expert opinions, etc.) and, where appropriate, alternative dispute resolution (settlements, undertakings, etc.) to achieve the best possible solution for the client. Because prevention is better than cure, he also helps companies set up compliance tools and train their teams to respect competition law and criminal business law.

Florent is also involved in merger control cases – especially when they are complex – which he sees as an extension of his litigation skills: convincing the authorities, within an often constrained timetable, that the proposed solution, whether in simple authorisation or remedies-based cases, is the best possible.

He does not forget to pass on his knowledge to younger people and in the Master 2 European Business and Competition Law at the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas and at the Paris Bar School (“EFB”).
