Geoff advises and represents private and public sector employers, with a particular focus on wrongful dismissal, breach of contract, petitions, judicial review and applications for injunctions. He has also previously advised a United Nations agency in the Middle East on labour relations issues.
Geoff has appeared on appeals before the Supreme Court of Canada, the Federal Court of Appeal and the BC Court of Appeal, and represents employers in arbitration and human rights hearings, labour relations board proceedings and before other administrative tribunals. He has advised and represented employers in many different industries, including education, insurance, benefit trusts, professional services, manufacturing, aviation, shipping, grain handling, transportation, technology, forest products, oil and gas, fishing, parking management, hospitality and property management.
