Jeffrey A. Armel

As a Specialist in Construction Law certified by the Law Society of Ontario and a Partner in the Koskie Minsky Litigation Group, Jeffrey advises and represents all facets of the construction industry including owners, developers, contractors, trades, engineers, suppliers and sureties.

He is well adept at handling complex and multi-party disputes before all levels of court, including tort actions, construction lien litigation and breach of trust actions and has earned an excellent reputation with the courts and opposing counsel for his passionate advocacy coupled with an informed and pragmatic approach.

Jeffrey also utilizes his broad expertise to assist his clients in the review of existing construction contracts and the negotiation and preparation of new contracts with a view to managing and minimizing risk.

In addition to being recognized annually by both Lexpert and Best Lawyers as a leading practitioner in his field, Jeffrey has also published numerous articles on construction law issues and is a regular speaker and chairperson at Ontario Bar Association conferences, Advocates Society seminars and private industry forums, including the Toronto Construction Association.
