Jordan Cohen is a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School and has been in practice since 1982, primarily in the areas of real estate and corporate/commercial law.
He has extensive experience in the acquisition, financing, leasing and sale of commercial, industrial and residential properties. He regularly represents financial institutions in all aspects of secured lending and enforcement in both the real estate and corporate setting.
Jordan also acts for entrepreneurs and private companies in the establishment, organization and financing of their operations throughout Canada. In particular, he has guided many American corporations in the acquisition or establishment of Canadian businesses and in working with their local advisors to create appropriate structures and financing arrangements while working with both Canadian and U.S. lenders.
Jordan is active in the local Bar. He was a long-time member and officer of the Real Property Executive of the Ontario Bar Association and occasional speaker on continuing education in real estate matters at both the Ontario Bar Association and the Law Society of Ontario. He is the past President of the Ontario Chapter of the Canadian Associates of Ben-Gurion University, and currently sits on its national Board of Directors.
