Jules Gaudin specializes in information technology law. He advises companies on intellectual property, regulatory and commercial issues. With a strong interest and expertise in new technologies such as artificial intelligence, blockchain and cybersecurity, he assists clients with emerging legal and regulatory issues. He also practices in the areas of personal data protection, domain name management, commercial arbitration, and open source licensing.
Prior to joining the firm, Jules developed expertise in European and international law in the areas of business law, commercial arbitration and intellectual property in French law firms, assisting global companies.
He is involved in mentoring and advisory roles in international entrepreneurship competitions and technology incubators. He is regularly asked to participate as a speaker or judge in law and international relationship competitions, or to share his expertise with technology professionals, IP specialists or students.
Jules holds two bachelor's degrees from Université Lumière Lyon 2 in law and political science, a master's degree in political science from Université Lumière Lyon 2 and the University of Ottawa, a master's degree in comparative business law from Université Lumière Lyon 2 and the University of Montreal, and a Master of Laws in international business law from the University of Montreal.
Jules joined ROBIC after completing his internship with the firm.
