Justus Kreuels´ practice involves patent prosecution in the fields of mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, information technology and medical engineering and patent opposition as well as invalidity proceedings before the European Patent Office, the German Patent and Trademark Office, and the Federal Patent Court.
He studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and at RWTH Aachen University where he graduated as Master in Engineering in 2007. In 2011 he qualified as German Patent Attorney and in 2012 as European Patent Attorney. As a partner, he has held management positions in various Düsseldorf patent law firms since 2014.
Main focusPreparing patent applications, carrying out procedures associated with the patenting process in Germany and Europe, attending to procedures associated with patenting process outside Germany, preparing and producing objections against German and European patents, issuing expert opinions on the legal validity and infringement of patens, offering advice on the preparation of property rights strategies, advising clients on trademarks and trademark applications.
