Kevin’s clients have included trade creditors, lien claimants, asset purchasers, landlords, utilities, lenders, trustees, preference and fraudulent transfer defendants, and other interested parties in bankruptcy reorganization and liquidation proceedings. He has participated in many large and complex commercial restructurings across a broad array of industries, including retail, healthcare, manufacturing and energy, both in Delaware and across the country. In 2018, Kevin was recognized by Delaware Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in the area of business bankruptcy.
Kevin also handles commercial litigation matters, such as breach of contract and other business disputes, before the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, the Delaware Court of Chancery and the Delaware Superior Court.
Kevin understands, from years of hands-on experience, that every debtor is unique. As a result, he is often called upon to resolve issues ranging from landlord/tenant matters and tax problems to contractual and employment issues, among many others. Regardless of the challenge or complexity of the matter at hand, Kevin makes a point of understanding what his client wants to achieve, as well as the details and overarching goals of the case at hand. Kevin strives to work collaboratively with Delaware attorneys and with opposing counsel to obtain a desirable and cost-effective resolution of his client’s legal concerns.
While in law school, Kevin served as a legal extern for the Honorable Judge Kent A. Jordan of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
