Since 2006 Manuel has collaborated with the firm "Uhthoff, Gomez Vega & Uhthoff", working in the Patent Technical Area, specifically in the Areas of Mechanics, Electrical, Industrial Designs and Utility Models, focused on Information Technology, Software, Internet, Telecommunications, Electronic Commerce, Mobile Devices, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Metaverse, Machine Learning, and Blockchains, participating in the drafting, searches, technical analysis and infringement, of designs and patents in Mexico and abroad, as well as the filing, monitoring and processing of PCT, PPH, and Hague Design applications. He has been a speaker at several UNAM seminars, is a member of AMPPI and AIPLA, and within AMPPI, he is the current Chair of the Sub-committee of Mechanical and Electrical Inventions.

Manuel obtained a degree in Physics, a Master's degree in Nuclear Physics and a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UNAM. He has worked and participated in projects as a Researcher, in the Areas of Nuclear and Military Electronics, Elemental Particle Detectors, as well as Computer Simulations of Atomic, Nuclear and Radioactive interactions.
