Manuel joined the firm in 2003 and specializes in the diverse areas of General Administrative Law (i.e. liability claims against Public Administration), Urban Planning Law and Compulsory purchases and Litigation.

From 2007 to 2010, he taught about Expropriations for the MBA of Urban Planning Law at the Rey Juan Carlos University in Madrid.

In addition, he completed an MBA in Real Estate Companies at the Polytechnic University in Madrid.

He was also awarded an Advanced Studies Diploma by the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos de Madrid.

He is currently writing his doctoral thesis on the Institute of Expropriation Reappraisal.

On the other hand, his academic background includes several courses at foreign universities such as Harvard, Stanford, London School of Economics, and most recently Chicago Booth School of Business in collaboration with the IE. I

n 2001 and 2002, he was part of the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Department of the international law firm Clifford Chance.

Manuel holds a Law Degree with Honours from the Complutense University in Madrid. When he finished his studies, he prepared for the state examination to join the Corps of State Lawyers for a period of four years, acquiring a broad and global knowledge of Law both Public and Private and especially in regard to Administrative, Civil and Procedure Law.

LANGUAGES: Manuel is bilingual in both English and French.
