Marcus has broad experience in most areas of insurance law. He has acted as both coverage and defence counsel and has also acted in complex subrogated recovery claims. His practice has a particular focus on financial lines, professional indemnity and directors and officers claims. He has also acted in multiple class actions arising from these classes of insurance.

He has acted in numerous liability claims involving property damage, product liability and personal injury. He also has experience in contract works and industrial special risk claims.

He has assisted with the drafting of insurance policies; advised on policy interpretation and conducted detailed policy reviews. He has also provided advice on the transfer of risk through insurance coverage and contractual indemnities in procurement contracts.
