Experienced litigator, arbitrator and advisor on commercial matters especially related to Insurance Law. As a lawyer and founding partner of Gazmuri & Cia. She has developed an extensive career as an external legal advisor for both ordinary and extraordinary business of general insurance companies and insurance brokers; She has participated in important mergers and acquisitions processes of various companies, regulated and unregulated; She has carried out financial operations of syndicated loans and placement of bonds, both in Chile and abroad. She maintains active advice on insurance and reinsurance matters. She highlights her vast experience in the field of litigation, especially in commercial arbitrations. She is particularly dedicated to insurance arbitrations, both in defense of companies and policyholders, generally in matters related to high-risk claims, especially industrial, concessionaire and salmon farm claims. She also has experience in dispute resolution in foreign reinsurance matters. She is an arbitrator of the Arbitration and Mediation Center of the Santiago Chamber of Commerce (CAM Santiago), where she has learned about matters related to real estate, construction and compliance and nullity of contracts, among others. Likewise, she is an arbitrator of the Latin American Center for Insurance and Reinsurance Mediation and Arbitration, ARIAS LATAM. She is Director of the Inter-American Insurance Association, Chilean Section AIDA Chile, since 2023. She is Leader of the Conflict Resolution Working Group of the Inter-American Insurance Association, Chilean Section AIDA Chile, through which she publishes and actively participates in the National Insurance Law Conference.
