Martina has acted in international arbitration proceedings under the ICC, DIS, ICDR, CEAC and Swiss Rules with seats in Paris, Zurich, Munich, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, London, and New York. Martina has experience in commercial and investment arbitration in a diverse range of sectors, including construction and infrastructure projects, private equity, energy and natural resources, pharmaceuticals, IP licensing, manufacturing and international sales. An Italian-qualified lawyer and a member of the Munich bar, Martina worked in five jurisdictions across Europe before joining 7SA in January 2019, including as in-house counsel for a German global technology powerhouse in Paris, at the international arbitration group of an international law firm in Vienna, and the ICC International Court of Arbitration in Paris.

A graduate from LUISS Guido Carli University, Rome, Martina holds LL.M and Ph.D degrees from the University of Lausanne, with which she continues to collaborate. Martina is the author of Privity of Contract in International Investment Arbitration: Original Sin or Useful Tool? (Kluwer Law International 2020) and many other publications. Martina regularly speaks at international conferences on commercial and investment arbitration and is Co-Chair of AA40, the Italian below40 arbitration group.
