Matt Pluss is a member of the firm’s Real Estate practice group, joining Senn Visciano Canges in 2014 as a Director. Prior to joining the firm, he was a shareholder at both Ryley Carlock & Applewhite, P.C. and Isaacson Rosenbaum P.C. He focuses his practice on real estate and business transactions–including purchase, sale, leasing, financing, and management matters–and has assisted a variety of clients in the acquisition, management and disposition of raw land, commercial office properties, multi-family properties, hotels and industrial properties.
He has worked on several notable real estate projects in Colorado, the Rocky Mountain region, and the country, including the JW Marriot San Antonio Hill Country Resort and Spa, a resort with two TPC golf courses and the largest JW Marriot in the country; and the Nickelodeon Hotel in Orlando, Florida. Some projects closer to home include JW Marriott Cherry Creek; Hotel Teatro; The Campus at Longmont; and University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.
Matt is a former member of the Board of Advisors for the University of Denver Bridge Project where he chaired for many years the Scholarship Committee for the Bridge Project, rewarding college scholarships to deserving high school seniors. He is also a graduate of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce Leadership Denver Program and, while attending law school, was articles editor for the Colorado Journal of International Environmental Law and Policy, University of Colorado School of Law.
He was named to the 2011-2014 editions of Colorado Rising Stars and has been a finalist the last many years in the Denver Business Journal’s 40 Under 40.
Matt Pluss is a third-generation Coloradoan, is married to Colette and has three daughters.
