I am a divorce and family law attorney with a very strong financial background as a CPA with a Masters of Tax Law. I am Partner at the firm Harrison, LLP with offices in downtown Chicago.

The divorce process can be complicated and overwhelming. I make sure my clients understand why we are taking each step through this process. I look at the entire situation objectively, always with an eye on the end result; working with my clients to find the best solutions for them and their families. With my proven track record as one of the top rated divorce and family law attorneys in the Chicagoland area, I have helped many people through the divorce process.

I represent people in all aspects of family law. My clients have issues concerning child custody, child support, property division, business valuation, finding hidden assets and income, paternity, domestic violence, adoption, and grandparents’ rights. For those planning to marry, I write prenuptial agreements or postnuptial agreements for individuals who have already taken the big step.

In addition to representing my clients in the courtroom, I solve issues using alternative dispute processes such as Collaborative Law and mediation that can be employed to settle cases between disagreeing spouses. I am a Certified Mediator in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois in the Domestic Relations Division.

Drawing upon my previous work experience as a Certified Public Account and tax attorney, I negotiate, and if required go to trial for you. I am very strong in cases involving finances.

I am a Fellow in the prestigious American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, which is a select national group of attorneys acknowledged as prominent family law practitioners.

Every year since 2009, I have been recognized by the Leading Lawyers Network and have also been named an Illinois Super Lawyer. Throughout the State of Illinois, I am asked to speak at Continuing Legal Education Programs. I have authored articles and a book chapter, been consulted by the print media on family law issues, have appeared on television and radio, and have been quoted in numerous publications. During my career, I have taught courses for and lectured to non-lawyers on a variety of family law issues.
