Michael Brodowski is a patent lawyer and partner in the Boston office of Burns & Levinson LLP. Michael has two decades of experience counseling clients regarding the establishment and exploitation of patent rights in the United States and abroad to support clients’ business objectives including patent reexamination, reissue, and opposition proceedings. He also advises clients on avoiding the patent rights of others, and in connection with technology licenses and agreements, and patent due diligence.
Before entering the legal profession, Michael worked in the Product Development Group of the Toiletries Technology Laboratory of the Gillette Company. He is the first named inventor on U.S. and foreign patents.
Michael received a B.A. in Chemistry from the University of Rochester; a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the State University of New York at Buffalo; and a J.D., magna cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School.
