Michael Orta

Michael Paul Orta is a partner in the Jacksonville office. He practices in the area of insurance defense, focused on Bodily Injury, UM, Premises Liability, 1st party property, and Bad Faith claims.

Mr. Orta has been recognized by Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America since 2024 for Insurance Law.

Born in Jacksonville, Mr. Orta attended Bucknell University for his undergraduate studies, and later the College of William & Mary, where he obtained an MBA focused on real estate and entrepreneurship before attaining his law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law, where he focused his studies on commercial litigation and international law.
