Michael V. Conger devotes his practice to Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation law. With more than 30 years of experience in the areas of employee benefits law, ERISA, ESOPs and business law, Mr. Conger has consulted with thousands of companies in the design, drafting, implementation and operation of all types of retirement, deferred compensation, welfare and other benefit plans for closely-held companies, publicly traded corporations, executives, government agencies, credit unions and tax-exempt organizations.

Drawing on his vast knowledge of employee benefits and business law, Mr. Conger’s clients range in size from sole proprietorships to more than 500,000 employees. He has successfully represented numerous clients in audits by government agencies (DOL and IRS), has advised and counseled on sales of stock to ESOPs and represented ESOP fiduciaries, and has developed and drafted hundreds of distinctive executive compensation plans.
