Nareg Froundjian

Nareg is a specialized technology attorney with Fasken's Privacy and Cybersecurity group. Nareg provides practical and actionable advice to some of Canada’s leading institutions and startups, leaning on over six years of advisory experience at the intersection of law and tech.

His practice focuses on data protection issues, with a particular penchant for cybersecurity breach preparation and response (incl. bespoke advisory work, gap assessments, crisis simulation, and holistic breach response). He also acts as a subject matter expert for corporate transactions. He has broad experience with the Canadian privacy landscape and is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/C). He is a board member of the Young Bar of Montreal and chairs its technology law committee
