Randy Moore is co-chair of Alston & Bird’s Mergers & Acquisitions Group and is a member of the Financial Services & Products Practice Group. He focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and related strategic matters, with a particular emphasis on the financial services industry (including banks, investment advisers, broker-dealers, and insurance companies). He represents private and public companies, investment banking firms, and private equity groups throughout the country. Randy regularly provides advice to board members and management teams on structuring and negotiating complex corporate transactions, and represents companies and investment banks in public and private offerings of equity, debt, and hybrid securities.

Randy has served on the firm’s Investment Committee since 2011 and is currently the vice chair of the committee. From 2002 to 2005, he was an adjunct professor at the Emory University School of Law, where he taught a seminar to third-year law students on mergers and acquisitions. He is a frequent author and speaker on matters relating to mergers and acquisitions, securities regulation, corporate governance, and the fiduciary duties of boards of directors. Randy has been recognized in a number of publications as a leading corporate attorney.
