Ricardo is part of the transactional and financial practice of the firm with vast experience in banking and finance, project finance, M&A, and restructuring and insolvency matters. He joined the firm in 2007 and became a partner in 2020. He has advised local, international and multilateral banks, development financing institutions and other financiers, project developers and companies on a large array of financing transactions including energy, transport and social infrastructure projects, as well as aircraft, vessel and other asset-backed financing transactions. Ricardo has advised clients not only on the origination and implementation of financing projects but also on refinancing and restructuring aspects together with the firm’s dispute resolution team. He also has vast experience on M&A and general corporate matters having advised a number of local and international companies invest and establish in Mexico, acquire ongoing businesses and joint venture with other companies to develop projects across several industries, including aviation, energy, infrastructure and manufacturing.
