Robert Scott is a seasoned trial lawyer, who has devoted his entire practice to representing clients who have been injured or wronged by others. In 2010, at the age of 27, Robert founded Scott & Wallace LLP with his law partner, Clint Wallace. In 2012, at the age of 29, Robert obtained his first recovery over $500,000. He tried his first wrongful death case to jury verdict at the age of 31. At the age of 32, Robert obtained his first multi-million dollar recovery. Since Scott & Wallace’s inception, Robert has personally resolved thousands of injury and death cases, and in the last three years alone, has recovered over $35 million for his clients.

A former felony prosecutor, Robert is a member of both the Florida Bar and Georgia Bar. He is also a member of the Tallahassee Bar Association, where he formerly served on the Board of Directors for the Young Lawyer’s Division, the Florida Justice Association, where he is an EAGLE member, and the Capital City Justice Association, where he currently serves on the Board of Directors. He graduated with high honors (magna cum laude) from Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina and is an honors graduate (cum laude) of Florida State University College of Law.

In 2014, at the age of 32, Robert achieved an AV Preeminent® rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating possible. According to Martindale-Hubbell, “AV Preeminent® is a significant rating accomplishment – a testament to the fact that a lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence.” Robert is also rated by Super Lawyers® as a Rising Star under 40, a distinction shared by only 2.5% of all qualifying lawyers in Florida. In 2020, he was included in Best Lawyers®, a peer reviewed publication recognizing the top 5% of lawyers in the United States in private practice. He is a member of both the Million Dollar Advocates Forum® and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum®. He is a member of the Top 40 Trial Lawyers Under 40, as chosen by the National Trial Lawyers. He is rated Superb (10.0) by the popular lawyer rating website, Avvo.

Robert continues to be very involved in the firm’s charitable efforts. Of note, Scott & Wallace has endowed and annually funds the Taylor Moseley Memorial Scholarship at Lincoln High School, the Scott & Wallace Holiday Turkey Giveaway, the Leon County Schools Principal of the Month, and the Conley Elementary Food Pantry. The firm also continues to make significant financial contributions to local charities and altruistic endeavors across Florida and Georgia.

Robert resides in Tallahassee with his wife, Darby, and their two children, Tatum and Boden.
