Roberto is partner of TC&L and specialist in the tax law team of the firm.
Through his career, Roberto has developed his practice in the fields of strategic tax control (as former tax official), as well as in the fields of tax advisory, tax planning and estate planning, both national and internationally; transfer pricing and intercompany transactions; tax consequences of corporate restructures, and tax litigation, among others.
Roberto holds a degree in Law from the “Universidad de las Américas, Puebla”. He also holds a Master's Degree in International Tax Law from the University of Leiden in the Netherlands. Likewise, Roberto has a Master's Degree in Tax Law from “Universidad Panamericana”, where he also studied the specialization in Amparo, Commercial Law and Financial Institutions laws.
Throughout his professional career, Roberto has collaborated for the Mexican Tax Administration Service (“SAT” for its acronym in Spanish), as well as, in the most recognized law firms in Mexico and Latin America, actively participating in highly relevant operations.
He is an active member of the International Fiscal Association, the International Tax Center Association, and the Tax Commission of the COPARMEX in the state of Querétaro, Mexico.
As for his academic experience, Roberto is part of the Tax and Administrative Faculty at the Anahuac University, Querétaro.
Moreover, he has participated in various publications in specialized magazines on tax matters.
