Ross Pulkrabek represents businesses and individuals in civil trials and arbitrations. He is the 2015-2016 President of the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association. Ross has a broad and diverse civil trial practice. He is recognized as a leading attorney in Colorado in the areas of business torts and professional negligence. He also regularly represents clients in probate and other fiduciary litigation as well as insurance disputes. Ross’ business torts practice includes claims breaches of contract, fraud, misrepresentation, embezzlement and other theft, misappropriation of trade secrets, and other economic harms. He regularly represents businesses, individuals, families, and trusts that have been harmed in business transactions and questionable investment schemes.

Ross also represents plaintiffs in professional negligence cases against lawyers, accountants, and real estate brokers. He has recovered millions of dollars in judgments and settlements against licensed professionals who have injured their own former clients through negligence or other wrongdoing. For more than a decade, Ross has been a contributing author to Lawyers’ Professional Liability in Colorado, the leading treatise on legal malpractice in Colorado. He advises other lawyers and law firms on issues involving professional ethics and lectures at continuing legal education seminars on topics involving ethics and professional liability.

In addition to his business litigation experience, Ross represents beneficiaries and successor fiduciaries in trust and estate litigation. Such cases commonly involve complex asset tracing and require thoughtful and thorough investigation. Ross has recovered millions of dollars on behalf of clients in cases involving negligence, breaches of trust, lack of capacity, and undue influence.Ross has extensive experience representing plaintiffs against defendants who seek to avoid paying claims by transferring assets. He has written and lectured extensively about fraudulent transfers. In 2014, he led a successful effort to amend the Colorado Uniform Fraudulent Transfer Act to penalize debtors who transfer assets with actual intent to hinder, delay, or defraud creditors. He often is hired by other attorneys to help locate and recover defendants’ assets.Ross also handles cases that defy easy categorization.

For almost two decades, Ross has excelled at using a creative, customized, and results-oriented approach to trial practice. He believes that every client and every case is unique.
