Sean N. Simensky concentrates his practice on general corporate representation of private national and international companies, not-for-profit corporations, as well as representing financial institutions, private lenders and borrowers in loan transactions.
An associate in the Firm’s Banking and Corporate Practice Groups, Sean assists clients with general business matters, including selection and formation of business entities, shareholder and operating agreements, employment and consulting agreements, and corporate severances. In addition, Sean supports clients in various aspects of mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence, negotiation, drafting and the closing of transactions.
Sean assists in the review and documentation of both commercial and real estate loans for financial institutions, private lenders and businesses in the commercial and real estate area.
Sean graduated valedictorian of his class from LIU Post with degrees in history, political science, and sociology. While attending Hofstra University School of Law, Sean served as Editor-in-Chief of the American College of Trust and Estate Law Counsel (ACTEC) Law Journal. At graduation, Sean received one of the school’s highest honors, the Outstanding Law Student Award. The recipient is chosen each year by the faculty and is awarded to “the graduating student who, in his/her three years at the Law School, has shown a combination of those qualities and abilities that are the ideals of the legal profession.”
