Mr. Haileab is a well-respected member of his profession who is known for being tenacious while advocating for his clients in all personal injury matters. He has garnered recognition for his advocacy skills from his opponents, the judiciary, and most importantly, the countless clients he has successfully represented.

Prior to joining Wapner Newman, P.C., Mr. Haileab served as an Assistant District Attorney for the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office during which he tried hundreds of jury and bench trials. As a member of the Family Violence and Sexual Assault Unit, Mr. Haileab was responsible for investigating and prosecuting sexual assaults on minors and on adults and was the Office’s primary prosecutor of offenders accused of violent assaults against children. Mr. Haileab received law enforcement training concerning the investigation and prosecution of sexual assaults and child pornography offenses.

Mr. Haileab is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the State of New Jersey, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, as well as the United States Tax Court.

Mr. Haileab is an active participant in a variety of legal organizations. His memberships include the Barristers’ Association of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association, New Jersey Bar Association, and New Jersey Association for Justice. Mr. Haileab has consistently been recognized as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Star.

In his time away from the office, Mr. Haileab volunteers at a number of nonprofit organizations around the city, including the Cedar Park Neighborhood Scholarship Committee, the Eritrean Community Center of Philadelphia, Philadelphia VIP, the Homeless Advocacy Project, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.
