He has authored numerous legal publications including Hawai‘i Collection and Bankruptcy Law Manual (4th ed. 2013, 5th ed. forthcoming) and Foreclosure & Related Remedies, Hawai‘i Chapter (2011, American Bar Association).Mr. Pettit advises and represents lenders, debtors, landlords and tenants, secured creditors, creditor committees, receivers, trustees and liquidating trusts in a variety of industries. Mr. Pettit has extensive experience in large bankruptcy cases, consumer and business bankruptcy, chapter 11 reorganization, cross-border insolvency matters, receiverships and judicial foreclosure proceedings.
Ted Pettit was one of the founders and was the first president of the Hawai‘i Bankruptcy Bar Association (2011).
