Tiffany J. DeGruy

Tiffany deGruy is a trial lawyer who has considerable experience trying high-stakes business and commercial litigation. Tiffany represents clients in a variety of industries, such as healthcare and e-commerce. Most recently, she was a key member of a trial team in a 10-week jury trial and conducted witness examinations before a jury.

Tiffany represents the interests of clients in the healthcare industry in various types of commercial litigation. Tiffany also regularly advises clients on matters related to pre-litigation and the litigation of healthcare-related issues. Tiffany assists healthcare providers with legal issues that arise from the daily operation of healthcare facilities.

Tiffany also has represented clients in class actions and advises clients on the complex legal issues related to class certification. Tiffany was recently able to obtain a very favorable outcome for a client facing a potential class action.

Tiffany also has extensive experience in managing the inherent complexity of multi-jurisdictional disputes for publicly traded companies. She handles a diverse range of cases, including high-stakes, “bet-the-company” business litigation, commercial disputes, matters arising from federal fraud investigations under the Federal False Claims Act and qui tam whistleblower actions, contract disputes, and insurance coverage disputes, as well as mass tort and employment-related disputes.

Tiffany has worked on a variety of cases in both federal and state courts across the country, achieving favorable results on behalf of clients who range from publicly traded companies to family-owned businesses. She also handles complex arbitrations and represents clients in arbitration forums throughout the region.

Tiffany heads Bradley's Women's Initiative and serves on the firm’s Inclusion and Diversity Committee. Tiffany also is the co-chair of the American Bar Association’s Section of Litigation Women Advocate Committee. In addition, Tiffany is actively involved in her community and serves on the board of directors for One Roof, a non-profit focused on ending homelessness, and Momentum, a female leadership organization that advances equity for women. Tiffany also has conducted extensive pro bono work. She has represented an inmate on Alabama death row for over a decade and has assisted indigent clients obtain restraining orders and guardianships.
