Victoria Chinsee is organized, detail-oriented, and responsive, taking a strong analytical approach to interpreting the law in a way that her clients understand. She focuses her practice on counseling private companies on a wide range of complex business and transactional matters spanning the corporate life cycle.
She advises on pre-incorporation planning, entity selection and formation, commercial lease review and negotiation, and contract drafting, review, and negotiation for day-to-day business operations. Additionally, Victoria provides counsel regarding corporate governance, compliance, and legal due diligence; shareholder issues, stock restructuring, and preparation of private financial debt arrangements; and business succession planning, dissolution, and winding up.
Victoria has served as outside general counsel to privately held businesses in several industries, including but not limited to, food and beverage, hospitality, large-scale private transportation, beauty and cosmetics, media advertising, marketing and branding, digital education, fertility, telecommunications, toxicology, real estate investment and management, model and talent management, and freight and logistics.
Victoria’s favorite part of her job – what keeps her invested and passionate – is being able to proactively assist clients with proper legal strategy so they can do what they do best – run and advance their business interests while leaving the legal fundamentals to her.
Prior to joining the firm, Victoria gained extensive corporate experience spanning nearly a decade working for Potente. While earning her J.D., she developed skills during a clerkship with the Office of the General Counsel of the Navy in Washington, D.C., and in externships for the Hon. Anthony J. Battaglia and the Hon. William Q. Hayes, both of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California.
Victoria has a long-standing musical background and grew up playing the flute and the piano. One of her most exciting and unusual musical accomplishments was performing as a flautist during the Opening Ceremonies of the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
In addition to her practice, Victoria believes physical and mental health play a crucial role in advocating for her clients. As such, she has been a barre instructor for several years and relishes the opportunity it provides her to help others – both within and outside the legal community – with their fitness goals.
