Bill Collier was born in Galveston, Texas in 1952 and attended Rice University where he received a B.A. degree (cum laude) in 1975. While at Rice, he was President of Sid Richardson College and Chairman of the University’s Honor Council. He later obtained a J.D. degree from Tulane University in New Orleans in 1978. He is admitted to practice law in the courts of Texas, Louisiana, and California. Mr. Collier joined Keesal, Young & Logan in 1980 and became a shareholder in 1984. In 2014, he moved to an Of Counsel role with the firm.
Mr. Collier’s primarily areas of practice have included civil litigation and the represention of multinational companies involved in international trade and marine transportation as well as oil and refining companies and marine and energy underwriters in connection with commercial disputes, casualties, personal injuries, and environmental matters. He has significant trial experience in both the state and federal courts of California.
