Zoya Ilyenka

Zoya is a partner and co-founder of “North Legal”, a law firm founded and based in Barcelona.

Zoya received her legal education in Belarus and Spain and is a Spanish qualified and practicing lawyer, a member of the Barcelona Bar Association.

Due to her background, she specializes in working with foreign clients, providing legal services in Spanish, English and Russian.

Zoya specializes in commercial and corporate law, in particular, in relation to foreign investment in Spain. Zoya has experience in litigation and arbitration in the areas of corporate law, recognition and enforcement of foreign judgements in Spain, bankruptcy, construction, real estate and shipbuilding, liability in international transport, liability of auditors and other claims for damages. She has experience in representing interests of corporate and individual clients, not only in court. Zoya advises international clients interested in entering the Spanish market, including corporate structure selection, tax planning and accompanying legal support.
