Daniel Naymark has experience in a broad range of commercial and civil disputes and regulatory matters, including contract and shareholder disputes, securities matters, insolvency, administrative law, employment law, professional negligence and fraud. He has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario. Daniel founded the litigation boutique firm Naymark Law in 2015, after practising for several years on Bay Street at a leading Toronto litigation boutique and a large, full-service firm and clerking for the judges of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.
Daniel is duty counsel at the Law Society Tribunal, serves as a mentor for law students at the University of Toronto, and acts as pro bono counsel to prominent advocacy groups in matters of public interest. He is a past Chair of the Young Advocates’ Standing Committee, a division of The Advocates’ Society.
Daniel has received a number of recognitions for his litigation work, including being listed as a leading lawyer in the Lexpert Directory (corporate-commercial litigation), Best Lawyers (Corporate and Commercial Litigation, Administrative and Public Law), and a Precedent Setter Award (2018).
