Rebecca Baggiano

Rebecca Baggiano is Special Counsel of the Australian Practice of Fragomen and has practiced exclusively in immigration law since 2007. She was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Queensland and High Court of Australia.

Rebecca provides legal advice to individual applicants in family migration, resident return and Australian citizenship applications and to local and global companies in corporate immigration matters.

Rebecca is part of Fragomen’s Government Relations practice which advocates for key immigration policy changes. She is also the Australian and New Zealand Country Lead of Fragomen’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee and Co-Lead of the firm’s Pro Bono committee, driving several pro bono projects in the humanitarian and protection visa space.

She is the lead reviewer and author of the LexisNexis Practical Guidance - Immigration publication, and the migration and citizenship chapter of the Halsbury's Laws of Australia publication.

Rebecca has been recognised by Best Lawyers since 2021 in Australian immigration law, Doyle’s Guide Leading Immigration Lawyers, Queensland in 2021 and 2022, Australasian Lawyer's Leading Female Lawyers in Australia - Elite Women 2023 and Asian Australian Alliance’s AA124 (Asian/Asian Australian) List of 2023/24.
