Update: Voting in the U.S. is closed as of May 4, 2021. Thank you for participating in the 2022 voting cycle. Submit nominations now for the 2023 Edition, and check out our methodology page for a complete overview of the process.

For 40 years Best Lawyers has been dedicated to upholding and serving the integrity of the legal industry. To support and increase the impact the legal field has on our nation, Best Lawyers established a partnership with CASA/GAL (Court Appointed Special Advocates Guardians ad Litem) in 2015 when Best Lawyers committed to making a monetary donation directly to CASA/GAL for every new voter who participated during Best Lawyers’ U.S. voting season. Our thriving partnership with CASA/GAL aligns our company’s values of ethical philanthropy with CASA/GAL’s commitment to protecting the legal rights of children and minors.

The CASA/GAL Mission

Founded in 1977, CASA/GAL is a national organization committed to safeguarding children’s rights to a safe and permanent family. Working closely with state and local programs, CASA supports and promotes court-appointed volunteer advocacy for children who have experienced abuse or neglect. More than a quarter of a million children are served every year by the dedicated volunteers recruited by the organization.

Expanding the Impact of Your Vote

In addition to your feedback acknowledging the extraordinary efforts of lawyers during one of the most challenging years in recent history, your vote can directly impact CASA/GAL.

For every new voter in the United States, Best Lawyers’ monetary donation to CASA/GAL grows. This donation will help fund network recruitment, training and support to volunteers across the country.

Every attorney newly awarded by Best Lawyers can play a part; it all starts with your vote.
